Better to Burn Out is a Steam achievement in 100% Orange Juice!. It is one of 6 achievements associated with DLC 4.

Requirement

As Kae, reach a DEF value of -5.

Strategy

• This isn't so hard to do once the stars have aligned for it, but it may take a while for that to happen. You will need three cards:  Heat 300%,  I'm on Fire! or  Rainbow-Colored Circle, and  Blazing!. Upon landing on a Heat 300% trap with an opponent nearby, use Blazing! for a Defense penalty and then your chosen minus defense battle card to seal the deal.
• If you have an abundance of hypers, you can supplement the trap entirely with 3 Blazing!'s, since the effect stacks. The only problem with this approach is you'll still need to use the battle card if you can't hit a Heat 300% trap in time, and you can't hold 4 cards at once since you're not Aru. Fortunately, each hyper use refreshes the 3-turn effect, so good timing and a bit of luck on draw panels or Charity can still save the day.
• As of Version 1.9.6, the buff to Kae's natural defense makes this slightly harder to obtain as it can no longer be acquired while counterattacking. Still, keep at it on a small stage: it may take a few Heat 300% traps to go perfectly, but eventually, it will happen.
