Gift cards are a category of card that provide the player with a passive effect while held. They can be positive or detrimental effects, sometimes a combination of both. Many gift cards can be played during Standby to discard them. Gift cards have a pink background. Some Hypers may be gift cards, expressed as "Hyper (Gift)".
