Overview

Cook is a character that is all about evading, while she posseses average attack, below average health, and reduced defense, she boasts the best evade stat out of anyone, +3 evade for that matter. This allows cook to evade small hits like nothing, and characters with low attack, are generally going to have a hard time hitting her. This can effectively, allow her to survive attacks from any characters with reduced attack most of the time. On top of that, with the help of evade boosting cards, cook can become almost impossible to hit, and if she rolls well, she can even evade boss attacks.

Cook also has one of the best hypers in the game. Guidance of the Weathercock will allow cook to roll 2 dice for movement, bonus, drop, and recovery. This hyper is one of the most versatile in the game, not only does this give cook good star generation, but also can be used to move quickly around the map and getting to home quicker, and recover faster, making it good for reviving quickly. The hyper can also cause cook to loose stars though, is expensive, and it also allows cook to only level up on her home, and also ends when she does.

Cook does have several downsides though. The first is her passive, what it does is, once cook uses evade, she gains a stack of Hungry (max is 3 stacks) when she has 3 stacks she will gain -1 evade and losses all stacks when she lands on her own home. This means, cook with 3 stacks of Hungry will have a statspread of 0 ATK, -1 DEF and +2 EVD, which turns her into a weaker Suguri. Keep in mind this is when cook uses the evade command, regardless if the evade is successful. The only way cook can get rid of the stacks and get her +3 EVD is if she lands on her own home, which means any cards or events that boost MOV or allow cook to roll extra dice are very useful for her. Cook also faces the problem of only excelling in one stat. Her lack of attack modifiers leads to cook struggling in dealing damage.

Her defensive stats also contradict her passive. Cook's build encourages her to evade given her low HP and defense, but also needs to preserve her evade because she looses evade if she gets enough Hungry. Also, while Guidance of the Weathercock is a good hyper, it does suffer by not having a practical offensive use, and it also restricts cook from leveling up, because she can only do so on her home, and the effect ends when she stops on her own home as well, and the hyper is not cheap costing 30 stars, so President's privilege is also a good card for cook to lower the cost.

Summary

Pros
+Amazing EVD stat
+Hyper gives her really good star generation
+Hyper makes it a lot easier to recover since she rolls 2 dice for recovery (Normal mode only)
+Hyper allows her to move quickly across the board
Cons
-Dies if she cannot evade
-Hyper reliant
-EVD lowers to +2 after evading 3 times, and she is incentivized to evade every roll except 4s at 4 HP
-Hyper can make drop panels catastrophic for her
