Playing As Cook
  • Cook plays similar to Suguri in the way that her character has the same stats as Suguri when her hungry is maxed with the exception of the extra attack point. Her hyper functions similarity to  Accelerator but trades battle compatibility for duration.
  • Cook can reliably avoid their home at higher Norma levels to get several  Bonus panels while staying far away from any offensive characters.
  • If another player is far ahead of you or about to win the game, Cook's hyper can also be used like  Accelerator in an emergency to reach that player and attack them as a last resort.
  • Her natural 3+ evade is incredibly high, allowing her to safely dodge most encounter panels, netting a guaranteed dodge on any roll at or below a 3.
  •  Rainbow-Colored Circle can be used to net a whopping +5 evasion stat, allowing her to dodge any non-boosted attack with ease.
  • At Norma 3, Cook will want a hyper as soon as possible. Cards like  Nice Present or  Passionate Research can increase her chances of netting a hyper before then.
  •  Nice Jingle can net her a massive amount of stars, especially if used in the lategame with her hyper active.
Playing Against Cook

The biggest weakness of Cook is her powerful hyper itself. At a glance, while the effects seems very powerful, it has it's limitations. Cook cannot Norma when she lands on home panel that is not hers, and if she does land on her own panel, even though the counter of Hungry gets reset, her hyper effect will be gone if active. This means that Cook must land on her own home eventually which makes her home a perfect place to set up a trap (if you can land on it.)

  • Card removal such as  Scrambled Eve,  Flamethrower, or  Present Thief can remove or outright steal her hyper. This leaves her in a very vulnerable position while severely buffing any combat-focused characters that steal her hyper such as Star Breaker or Tomomo, as they will be able to approach targets with ease.
  • Characters can also steal her hyper via  Mimic, making them much more dangerous.
  • Most traps in general counter Cook, especially if they are put on her home panel. Characters such as Krilalaris or Yuki (Dangerous) tend to put Cook at a heavy disadvantage.
  • Cook generally has a habit of "overshooting" certain panels. They might want to land on a nearby star panel but roll far too high to get to it. They can also accidentally run in front of an offensive character depending on the situation. This is when she is most vulnerable during her hyper state.
  • Starting fights with Cook early on can be a safe bet due to her neutral attack stat. This also forces her to waste Hungry stacks, leaving her in a more vulnerable state.
  • Damaging non-battle cards like  Long-Distance Shot and  Cloud of Seagulls can chip at her below average HP very easily, which is often the most common solution to stopping a Cook with their hyper active.
