―Suguri & Hime
Final Battle is a collectible Battle card that can be acquired from the Base Pack.
Effect[]
When used in a battle, 10 rounds of combat will take place before the battle ends.
Notes[]
- The card's description is slightly unclear regarding its actual effect, as it simply causes the battle to have 10 rounds of combat, which is what the "maximum of 10 rounds" refers to. The battle ending early if a unit suffers KO is a natural game mechanic that Final Battle does not affect.
- Since 1 round of combat consist of both players attacking each other once each, Final Battle essentially causes the battle to last for 20 attack rolls (10 for each unit).
Interactions[]
- : Does not stack with itself. If both players use Final Battle, the combat will last for 10 rounds.
- : Does not stack. The combat will last for 10 rounds.
- Bounty battle (other than ): Does not stack. The combat will last for 10 rounds.
- Bounty battle: Final Battle has no effect. The combat will still end after 3 rounds.
- Outside Bounty Hunt Mode: The combat will be extended to last multiple rounds, but will still end after 3 rounds maximum.
:
- Battle effects that trigger upon landing a hit, taking damage, or evading (such as , , and ) may be triggered multiple times due to the extra rounds of combat.
- If the attacking unit is under the effect of , its effect only applies to the first round of the battle.
Strategy[]
Final Battle is one of the most powerful and expensive Battle cards in the game, more or less guaranteeing that one player will be KO'd during the next battle. The card itself is much like a stronger Home panel, whose defeat would yield enough stars or wins to check the final norma.
, extending the battle time to such a length that it is almost impossible for both players to survive, except in rare circumstances. As a result, the player should always attempt to use the card when the odds of victory are in their favor. This can easily be accomplished either using high ATK characters such as and or with characters with non-battle offensive Hyper cards that combo with the card to brutal effect, such as , , , and . Likewise, the card also works very well against low ATK tank characters such as and , as most characters can effectively dodge their low counterattacks while chipping down their high HP. Due to being high level and expensive, Final Battle is most often used to stop a player from winning, or as a win condition, such as battling an opponent on aAs one might expect, the main downside to Final Battle is that it is a Battle card, and it's extremely expensive. To get the most out of the card, the player will want to combo it, but the price tag will likely be in the 50 star range. The player will need to be sure that the star reward from the battle will be greater than the price to use the card or combo it. While the player could lower the price with
before comboing, it would require the player to use their entire hand and leave themselves vulnerable. Consequently, since the card is a Battle card, it also has substantially less possible combos than . Characters with strong Battle Hyper cards like and will be unable to combo their powerful Hypers unless the opponent activates the card. Final Battle is also problematic since it can backfire substantially. If the player has terrible roll luck or if the opponent uses a powerful battle card like in response, the player can easily be the person KO'd.Trivia[]
- Final Battle's original effect added 99 extra attacks (49 rounds and a half). This was reduced to 18 extra attacks (9 rounds) in version 1.20 (hotfix 3), likely prompted by the then-recent addition of making it easier to create an extremely long battle if both players were under its effects.
- Up until version 3.10.1 (hotfix 3), Final Battle would simply add extra rounds of combat to the battle, meaning it could potentially stack with similar effects such as Little War and itself (if both players use it at once).
Update History[]
- Final Battle now properly set battles to be a certain amount of turns rather than add to it.
- Final Battle maximum duration is now 10 rounds of battle.
