Strategy[]
Flamethrower is a very powerful card control card that characters with great stats and few cards to benefit them can use to deny other characters cards to bypass their increased stats. Characters who can abuse Flamethrower greatly include
and , as these characters have a very strong statline and not many card synergies. However, Flamethrower has a few flaws, the primary one being the inconsistent nature of Trap cards. Flamethrower needs to be placed then landed on to have effect, which relies on a few things to go right; nonetheless, Flamethrower's effect can be devastating if a player was hoping to use cards to their benefit. Flamethrower also competes for deck space with more consistent card control in
and , meaning characters who may want to both run cards to help them and card control, such as , may struggle to find room for it. Despite these flaws, Flamethrower is a very strong card to bring on strong-statted characters to remove tools from other players who may use cards to your detriment.
