Hime (Moonlight) (月夜のヒメ Tsukiyo no Hime) is one of the playable characters in 100% Orange Juice!. She was added to the game in DLC 32 alongside .

Overview
Fully embracing the grace of the moon, Hime (Moonlight) trades one stat point in DEF to put into her EVD. Similar to Encounter panels. In addition, Hime (Moonlight) possesses a unique ability that affects her playstyle. Every 5 Chapters, Hime's stats become -1 ATK, -1 DEF, and +3 EVD for one chapter, indicated by a Full Moon icon that appears behind her. While she will not be able to reliably damage opponents by attacking in this state, she gains exceptional survivability, and can be used in conjunction with other evade-boosting effects such as and to push her evasive abilities to stellar heights.
, she relies on her EVD to survive battles, which is effective versus characters with low ATK or against a low roll. The way her stats are aligned means she can swap between Star and Win Normas depending on the flow of the game, or willingly take on units onHowever, against characters with a positive ATK stat such as Boss panels, Hime's playstyle becomes exponentially riskier. While she can dodge most low attack rolls, if she fails to evade them, they can quickly and dangerously tack on damage, or even outright KO her if the attack is impossible to evade or she doesn't roll high enough on a Defend roll, which is difficult due to having -2 DEF.
or when landing on anyHer Hyper is a mixed bag overall. It's low cost and has a low Norma requirement, meaning it can be used fairly early on. The effect is also quite powerful for the cost and can turn the tides of a battle in her favor if played smart. She does needs to dodge the attack, however, to deal damage with it. It's also her only real way of damaging opponents under a Full Moon without a high roll or ATK-boosting effects, and its true power can only be unleashed during a Full Moon, so she will need to pay attention to the chapter number and plan ahead for effective use.

Hime (Moonlight)'s Hyper is Dance in the Moonlit Night.
When used in a battle, this card has varying effects depending on the character that uses it and the chapter it is used on.
- When this card is used by any character other than Hime (Moonlight) or used on a chapter that is not a multiple of 5, if the player successfully evades an attack, they will instantly deal damage to the opponent equal to the amount of damage they would have taken if the evade had failed.
- When this card is used by Hime (Moonlight) and used on a chapter that is a multiple of 5, if the player successfully evades an attack, they will instantly deal damage to the opponent equal to twice the amount of damage they would have taken if the evade had failed. In addition, the player becomes unable to use the Defend command.
This damage takes place separately from the player's attack roll. If the enemy is KO'd from this effect, this counts as a regular battle KO.
Upon usage of Dance in the Moonlit Night, the background of the battle will change to that of a cloudy night sky. If the card is used on a chapter that is a multiple of 5, a full moon will also be present.

Strategy
Dance in the Moonlit Night is a somewhat powerful Hyper that can be tricky to utilize but can provide great boons when used right. It's reliant on the opponent's attack roll, as well as your position on the board relative to your opponents. Typically, the player will want to use it during the Full Moon to increase its effectiveness, and against opponents holding enough stars to try and make up the cost. Due to the need to evade the incoming attack, using cards or effects that boost EVD may be a good idea to help dodge more reliably.
The main issue with this Hyper is the need to evade attacks and, to a lesser extent, the timing. As this Hyper doesn't boost EVD on its own, high ATK opponents can make evasion too hard. During Chapters that are not under a Full Moon, Hime (Moonlight) may be able to KO the opponent with her attacking turn if their HP is low and she attacks first. A timely offensive card from the opponent such as comes to mind as one of the more reliable cards, as it leaves a 3-chapter window where Hime (Moonlight)'s EVD is either +3 normally, or +4 under a Full Moon. The Amplify field event can also help if it gives her an EVD boost. Similarly, there's also a decent number of cards that can help with getting into a battle. can force a battle with an opponent regardless of their position on the board if their HP is full. If they're just out of reach, she can try to chase them down with cards like or . The Trap card may work too, but this is fairly unreliable. or can nearly guarantee a KO against her as well. Lastly, opponents may try to predict your Hyper because the effect becomes much more deadly every 5th chapter, so finding a place to effectively use it may pose a little difficult.Tips
- Playing As Hime (Moonlight)
- Due to how Hime (Moonlight)'s stats work, she should defend 5s and higher and evade everything else at 5 HP, defend 4s and evade everything else at 4 HP, defend 3s and evade everything else at 3 HP, and evade everything at 2 or 1 HP. The only difference during full moon is that she should evade everything at 3 HP.
- Hime (Moonlight)'s main source of power is her hyper, Draw panels until she either gains her hyper, or they would put her in a bad position. , which means that she should mostly prioritize
- It is crucial for Hime (Moonlight) to pay attention to the chapter as full moon only happens every 5 chapters, where it can either be a massive boon as it significantly increases the power of her hyper, or a detriment as her statline becomes significantly weaker.
- Cards that increase movement like and , or let Hime (Moonlight) set up fights like and are good ways to utilize her hyper during full moon.
- is a great combo card for her hyper outside of full moon, and is still good for full moon whenever someone is add an odd HP value. It also doesn't do much to her when used against her.
- Card draw cards like and are good ways at trying to fish out her hyper or any other card that Hime (Moonlight) wants.
- sets Hime (Moonlight) to either 4 EVD normally, or 5 EVD during full moon, and always increases her chance of surviving a hit.
- is the only EVD increasing card that can be comboed with her hyper to make securing kills with it more likely.
- Playing Against Hime (Moonlight)
- Characters with high ATK like and have no troubles with KOing Hime (Moonlight}}, and make her think twice about using her hyper against them.
- Cards that increase ATK like and allow the user to KO Hime (Moonlight) with relative ease, and can even be used defensively to KO her when she is using her hyper.
- Cards that skip the user attacking like and are great ways at completely shutting down Hime (Moonlight) using her hyper.
- Cards that debuff Hime (Moonlight)'s EVD like or are exceptionally dangerous for her when she uses her hyper during full moon as it still forces her to evade, but with either -3 EVD or 0 EVD.
- can be used to either roll a 1 and avoid dying to her hyper, or roll a 6 to have a good chance at KOing Hime (Moonlight). However, Desperate Modification is good for her as it will either not effect, or increase her chances of survival, and increase her chances of KOing someone without her hyper.

Trivia
- Hime (Moonlight)'s uses a design that was first shown on Hono's Twitter, 4 years before her appearance on 100% Orange Juice! with her new design.[1] This redesign was originally made for use as a reference sheet for a Hime cosplay, planned by Fruitbat Factory for Tokyo Game Show 2017. The cosplay was created and worn by Aiya Saki at Fruitbat Factory's booth.[2]
- Hime's plush is also based off this design rather than her original design from Suguri.
