- Mio was first introduced in the Master of the Minions event, before being added as a playable character later during that same event.
- Mio appears in the artwork for and is quoted in the description of
Magical Inferno.
- M10 Robot's name is a reference to its creator, Mio.
- Before Version 3.13, Mio and Mousse's voice packs were the only voice packs in the game that didn't require DLC to unlock.
- Mio and Mio (Festive) are the only characters whose icons on the character select screen are hidden if they are not unlocked, rather than greyed out.
