Strategy[]

NoName plays a bit more aggressively than other +1 ATK characters like Sumika, Hime, or Kai. In terms of standard combat, he fares a bit better when he's on the other side, as he has a defensive stopgap in his Head form. NoName tends to enjoy combat often due to the lack of risk with the combination of his Head Form and Hyper. However, in his Head form, his best plan of action is to just run for his life. He struggles to consistently live against even -1 ATK characters, and his 6 REC is a massive detriment.

Tips[]

Playing As NoName
  • Utilizing NoName's Hyper effectively depends on the map he is in, as that determines what boss he summons or utilizes with  Overseer. The defensively below-average Store Manager can struggle to live multiple hits with the combination of Boss EncounterBoss Encounter
When Norma level 4 is achieved for the first time by any player, all Encounter panels on the map will be replaced with Boss panels. While Boss Encounter is in effect, any player who stops on a Boss panel will battle the Boss unit. This event will continue until the Boss unit is defeated.
panels and NoName forcing fights with it, but poses the strongest offensive power out of the set, letting  Overseer be potentially used offensively. Shifu Robot serves as the best defensive backbone against high attack characters, while Flying Castle works best against offensively weak characters.
  • Moss Golem in particular is one NoName loves to abuse, as it has the ATK of Store Manager and more HP than even Flying Castle. However, it only appears on three maps in Normal mode, so it is quite rare.
  • Do note that using  Overseer while on the attacking side makes the boss also attack first. This could be used to secure a kill on a severe threat, but also leave the boss susceptible to cards like  Shield or  Shield Counter.
  •  Oh My Friend is an essential card, as NoName requires the Boss present to use his Hyper.
  •  President's Privilege allows NoName to use  Oh My Friend and  Overseer for reduced cost, as well as other expensive cards he likes to run such as  Big Magnum.
  •  Extend can help offset the downside of NoName's REC.
  • NoName can use cards like  I'm on Fire! and  Big Magnum to make bigger offensive strikes, pushing his attack to dangerous levels. NoName must be wary of these cards being used on the  Boss or himself, however. Ideally, NoName should use these cards against the  Boss itself when it is at low HP in order to claim its stars.
  • NoName wants to avoid being in Head form at whatever cost. Healing cards like  Pudding can keep him healthy, especially when clashing against other offensive characters.
  •  Rainbow-Colored Circle can be used as a defensive card for NoName, especially in his Head form, while being risky to use against the Boss.
  • NoName's Head form has a nasty tendency to land on his own Boss EncounterBoss Encounter
When Norma level 4 is achieved for the first time by any player, all Encounter panels on the map will be replaced with Boss panels. While Boss Encounter is in effect, any player who stops on a Boss panel will battle the Boss unit. This event will continue until the Boss unit is defeated.
panels. Cards like  Dash! or  Serene Hush can be used to keep him alive long enough to reach a  Home panel and return to full strength.
  •  Play of the Gods can potentially bring  Oh My Friend and  Overseer (when used by other players) into play.
  •  Tactical Retreat,  Shield, or  Shield Counter can help him escape deadly battles while not posing much threat to the boss.
  •  Reverse Attribute Field can save NoName from a deadly encounter and even let him strike back in his Head Form, though caution must be taken as the card can be used just as effectively against the  Boss.
Playing Against NoName
  •  Gentleman's Battle and  Party Time can bring battle to NoName, especially when he's in the Head form.
  •  Final Battle and  Little War force NoName into prolonged battles.
  •  Rbits lets others survive attacks from the  Boss or NoName himself, usually chipping either of them down in the process.
  •  Sink or Swim can be game-altering if played against NoName's Head form. Attackers will have a strong likelihood of KO'ing NoName even with the stat decrease, which will steal the majority of NoName's stars alongside forcing him to contend with his high REC.
  • Out of battle damage is useful in chipping NoName down to his Head form, so cards like  Long-Distance Shot are preferable.
  • Generally going on the offensive against a low health NoName can put him in an unfavorable spot, due to his poor DEF stat. He also leaves himself very prone to getting chased if he transforms on a turn that isn't his own, as otherwise he'd roll after his target and usually end up behind them.
  • Defeating the  Boss puts NoName in a rather hefty disadvantage, as he can no longer use  Overseer to defend himself.
