Suguri (46 Billion Years) (スグリ(460億年) Suguri (460 Oku-nen)), also known as Forest Witch (森の魔女 Mori no Majo), is one of the playable characters in 100% Orange Juice!. She was added to the game in DLC 25, alongside Sumika.

Passives[edit source]

    • All cards that this ability can be used on are:
Boost Cards Event Cards
 Big Rocket Cannon
 Extended Photon Rifle
 Long-Distance Shot
 Rocket Cannon
 x16 Big Rocket
 Cloud of Seagulls
 Star-Blasting Light
 True White Christsmasher
 White Christsmasher

  • After using the damage-doubling effect, gain +1 die to your next movement roll (indicated by a stack of Rejuvenation).

Overview[edit source]

Suguri (46 Billion Years) is a character with a relatively balanced statline that is built around her passive of being able to boost damage dealing cards and gaining double dice for movement. With her statline of having 4 HP, 0 DEF, and 2 EVD, she can be hard to kill for neutral or lower ATK characters. Her passive also allows her to be a much bigger offensive threat than her 0 ATK suggests. She is the best character at getting characters low then fighting them for an easy kill. Tanks especially fear her as they can’t do much about her getting them to low HP, and they can’t fight back since her 2 EVD means that she evades most of their rolls. She doesn’t have to fear  Encounter panels, but she shouldn’t expect to kill them frequently. However,  Boss panels are something she is deathly afraid of, and she should avoid them at all costs if she has a significant amount of stars, even if it means boosting her out of combat damage-dealing cards.

Her main disadvantage is that she is reliant on getting her cards. She will generally fall flat if she can’t get them since she isn’t a big threat outside of them. And even if she gets the cards she wants, her opponents might not be at the right HP in order to use them to their max effect, so she has to look for other solutions like having to attack someone else with a boost card just to use Rejuvenation to reach a target. Another problem is that her 0 ATK does pose a problem for her as high EVD characters will still be hard for her to kill. For example, if she fights Aru at 1 HP, she will only have a 27.78% chance of KOing her without cards to boost her ATK. She also has a lower pool of cards that she can safely boost as  x16 Big Rocket,  Star-Blasting Light,  Extended Photon Rifle, and  Air Strike are generally too expensive for her to boost, and  Big Rocket Cannon will do too much damage unless she is against Arthur, Marie Poppo, Marie Poppo (Mixed), Kiriko, or NoName if he is in body form.

Playstyle[edit source]

Suguri (46 Billion Years) plays like an opportunistic assassin. She should be passive for the majority of the game since her stats alone do not give her an advantage over most characters. However, when she gets her out of combat damage-dealing cards, she should look to set up an easy kill that will secure her the star lead. If she has the star lead, she should focus on staying as far away from people as possible. She can boost cards to use the Rejuvenation effect to get away from what would be near certain death. If she is low, cards like  Cloud of Seagulls and  Indiscriminate Fire Support really shine as they can be used to either KO her, or damage someone else and she gets Rejuvenation to escape.

Unlock Info[edit source]

  • Automatically unlocked if DLC 25 is owned.

Summary[edit source]

Pros
+Tied for the highest EVD stat with Suguri, Suguri (Ver.2), Tsih, Aru, and Aru (Scramble)
+Passive is great at setting up KO's on low EVD characters
+Passive turns damage-dealing cards into essentially a  Dash! that only Suguri (46 Billion Years) can use, especially with low cost cards like  Cloud of Seagulls
+Hyper is free
Cons
-Below average HP and average DEF makes her reliant on good EVD rolls
-Average ATK means that she doesn't have good odds of KOing above average EVD characters, even if they are at 1 HP
- President's Privilege only covers the base cost of cards, so if Suguri (46 Billion Years) uses it, then boosts  Star-Blasting Light, she will spend 60 stars, not 10
-Hyper gives Suguri (46 Billion Years) random cards, including mostly useless cards like  Star-Blasting Light
-Hype is telegraphed, which allows for easy counter-play from cards like  Scrambled Eve and  Gift Exchange

Effect[edit source]

Suguri (46 Billion Years)'s Hyper is Observer of Eternity. When used, the player will generate 2 randomly selected damage-dealing Boost/Event cards, which will be instantly added to their hand.

The list of cards that this Hyper can create are:

Boost Cards Event Cards
 Big Rocket Cannon
 Extended Photon Rifle
 Long-Distance Shot
 Rocket Cannon
 x16 Big Rocket
 Cloud of Seagulls
 Star-Blasting Light
 True White Christsmasher
 White Christsmasher
Indiscriminate Fire Support (Normal Mode only)
 Air Strike (Normal Mode only)
Indiscriminate Fire Support (Co-op) (Co-op Mode only)
 Gamble! (Co-op) (Co-op Mode only)
Magical Inferno (Co-op) (Co-op Mode only)
Magical Massacre (Co-op) (Co-op Mode only)

The Boost/Event cards which can be generated by this Hyper exactly matches the list of cards that Suguri (46 Billion Years) can double the damage of with her passive ability. Therefore, despite technically fitting the criteria,  Lonely Chariot,  Crystal Barrier,  Magical Revenge, and  Full Speed Alicianrone cannot be generated using Observer of Eternity.

When any of the cards generated by Observer of Eternity are used or discarded, they are removed from the game rather than being sent to the discard pile.

Strategy[edit source]

Tips[edit source]

Playing As Suguri (46 Billion Years)
  •  Long-Distance Shot works incredibly well with Suguri (46 Billion Years)'s passive as it hits anyone for 2 damage and gives her the dash all for just 10 stars. This card is a must bring on any deck for her.
  •  Cloud of Seagulls is Suguri (46 Billion Years)'s best escape card as she can use it as a free dash that has the chance of KOing her, which would allow her to keep all of her stars, or KO her pursuer which puts even further distance between her and the pursuer.
  •  Indiscriminate Fire Support fulfills a similar role to  Cloud of Seagulls, but its main difference is that it won't instantly KO 4 hp targets which allows Suguri (46 Billion Years) to make some risky offensive plays with it
  • Cards that boost Suguri (46 Billion Years)'s attack like  I'm on Fire! and  Big Magnum gives her power outside of her out of damage cards, and makes finishing off low hp targets much more reliable.
  •  Rbits boosts Suguri (46 Billion Years)'s subpar defense, and it can't be used against her well since she mainly looks to get people to 1 hp with her out of damage cards.
  •  Serious Battle and  Reverse Attribute Field is a good option for dealing with characters with stats that Suguri (46 Billion Years) can't deal with very well like Sherry, Islay, Store Manager, and Suguri while keeping Suguri (46 Billion Years)'s attack and defense the same. However they can backfire hard if characters like Marie Poppo and Arthur are in the game, or if used against her when she is low.
Playing Against Suguri (46 Billion Years)
  • Characters with high evade like Suguri and Tsih have a pretty low chance of being KO'd at 1 hp by Suguri (46 Billion Years) unless she has a card to boost her attack, or lower their evade.
  • Characters with low evade like Marc and Yuki (Dangerous) can bring  Rainbow-Colored Circle to help them survive what would normally be near-certain death from Suguri (46 Billion Years) fighting them at 1 hp, but she can also make good use out of it due to her 2 evade.
  •  Metallic Monocoque will mitigate all damage Suguri (46 Billion Years) tries to do with her out of damage cards.
  • Characters with high attack like Yuki, Tomomo, Kae, and Store Manager can easily KO Suguri (46 Billion Years) since her defense is subpar, and her evade wont help her much against 2+ attack.
  • Cards that disrupt card usage like  Scrambled Eve,  Gift Exchange,  Flamethrower, and  Present Thief can help make sure that Suguri (46 Billion Years) doesn't get her out of damage cards off at the right time.
  • Healing cards like  Saki's Cookie,  Pudding,  Portable Pudding, and  Dinner can heal off any damage Suguri (46 Billion Years) tries to do with her out of damage cards.

Trivia[edit source]

  • Suguri (46 Billion Years) uses Suguri's design from the game 200% Mixed Juice!, rather than her design from Suguri.
  • While her origin is listed as 200% Mixed Juice!, her unit card and portrait are blue, like other characters from the Suguri series. She shares this distinction with Sumika.
