Theme
Syura (しゅら Shura) is one of the playable characters in 100% Orange Juice!. She was added to the game in DLC 1 alongside .
Passives

Overview
Syura is built on a slightly tanky statspread, with a passive that gives her a bonus to attack and evade. With this more tanky statspread, Syura is able to be hit a couple of times without risk of KO. This allows her to take 
Encounter and 
Boss panels over 
Drop much more often, keeping more of the stars you have gathered. On top of this, Syura is able to gain an offensive presence through the use of her passive and 
hyper.
However, Syura's downsides include the fact that she herself cannot obtain much of an offensive presence without the use of cards like her hyper and without being at certain HP thresholds. Coupled with the fact that she does not tank as well characters such as or she can be relatively easy to deal with, forcing her to constantly manage her health and cards in order to be most effective.
Playstyle
Due to the nature of Syura's stats, she should almost always be going for star normas. Syura should play more conservatively unless she desperately needs stars and is way behind. As well as looking to keep cards in her hand to always have the option to make a play if she needs to.

Effect
Syura's Hyper is Beyond Hell. When used in a battle, the player gains ATK, DEF, and EVD equal to the difference between their maximum HP and their current HP.
Strategy
Beyond Hell gives Syura the ability to deter people from attacking her while she is low on HP by giving her one battle where she can effectively dodge and attack. It's also useful on stages that reduce HP through the Air Raid field event or against opponents who have lower attack, such as . It is directly countered by indirect damage that would effectively KO Syura, like 
Flamethrower or 's 
x16 Big Rocket.
Note that while you can still use the card at full HP, doing so grants no benefits. Also, the defense bonus is meaningless while you are at 1 HP, as attempting to defend will result in being KO'd regardless.
Beware if the card falls into the hands of another player through cards such as
Tragedy in the Dead of Night or 
Gift Exchange, especially if higher-HP opponents such as , , , or are opponents. Their higher maximum HP allows them to make better use of this Hyper than Syura herself while they're low on HP; the latter two can effectively tank until they're at 1 or 2 HP to make the most of it.

Tips
- Playing As Syura
Saki's Cookie is a good way of staying topped off when Syura has the lead or after playing on low HP.
Big Magnum is a great offensive card to KO an opponent if you lack Beyond Hell as well a good way of lowering her HP to set up a stronger Beyond Hell.
I'm on Fire! is a fine offensive option if Syura is low on 1 HP without her Hyper if she desperately needs to get a KO.
Rainbow-Colored Circle is a nice way of living against +1 ATK units while also not marring the effect of her own battle cards.
Tactical Retreat is a good defensive option as typically Syura will not attack others without a battle card of her own.- If you are playing against Kai (Hero), using
Mimic to copy his 
Ex-Protagonist's Moment of Glory will give Syura a massive boost to her stats, which will be increased further by her passive since it reduces her HP to 1, for a total of +5 ATK and +6 EVD.

- Gift Exchange is a good way of removing Beyond Hell or any other battle cards from her hands.
- Reverse Attribute Field and Serious Battle are good ways of attacking into Syura or defending her powerful battle card options.
