Welcome to the festivities! We're happy to announce a big celebration for 100% Orange Juice hitting 2 million game + DLC downloads thanks to all of your support!

During the 1 million download celebration we added a free new unit, Mio, to the game, and... you guessed it!

A new unit, Mio (Festive) is now available to all owners of Mio! To unlock her, you need to have played 5 games as Mio, and then clear the new Extra Mission, "Secret Santa", on normal or higher difficulty, while playing as Mio.

Mio (Festive)!

Izawa Shiori (Nanachi in "Made in Abyss", Pochita in "Chainsaw Man", Kafuru in "Senran Kagura") reprises her role as the wonderful voice for Mio (Festive)!

Her hyper is illustrated by Senca, and special card by Yulay Devlet!

Please enjoy getting rowdy with her!

Voices Have Been Liberated!

As the second major announcement, all character voices are now available for free to all players!

You no longer need to own the DLC to enjoy the characters' banter, even if you only own the base game and nothing more! This is something we've wanted to do for a long time to make the experience better for everyone, and after a lot of thought it's finally been implemented!

Steam Announcement Apr2023A

All base game's character announcers are also available for everyone, to give you a wide selection of great announcers! DLC characters' announcer voices are only available for owners of the DLC (apart from free character rotation).

As a result, we are retiring the following 3 DLC from the Steam store:

  • Starter Character Voice Pack
  • Core Voice Pack 1
  • Core Voice Pack 2

While you can no longer buy these 3 DLC soon (currently pending Steam removal), they continue giving direct unlock of the characters whose voices they contain, which otherwise can be unlocked by playing normally. In addition, to compensate everyone who's bought these DLC over the years, each of the DLC gives their owner a consumable item (so up to 3 total for owners of all DLC), which can be exchanged for either 500 oranges or 10.000 stars each in the in-game Shop!

Please note that there's a limit of 999 Oranges and 99.999 Stars that can held at once, so as to not waste your tokens!

In addition, the Game of the Year Every Year Edition has been updated to contain Pudding Pack, Breaker Pack and Wanderer Pack instead of the 3 voice packs, keeping its nominal value the same.

More Default Color Options!

To further improve the experience for all new players, we've added new default plate color options!

In addition, the base character color packs have been removed from the store, and are instead now available by default on all characters!

Thanks for 2 million downloads!!

  • Added new unit: Mio (Festive)
  • The extra story mission "Secret Santa" has been added
  • The game is now fully voiced by default! All voice packs are now enabled for everyone without having to own DLC. Note that announcer voices still require owning the character.
  • The voice pack DLCs for base game characters will be unlisted. Players who previously purchased this DLC will receive compensation in the form of a new currency known as "Proof of Voices", which can be redeemed for 10.000 Stars and 500 Oranges each.
  • The orange, blue, green, and yellow unit colors are now unlocked by default for all characters, and have been removed from the Shop
  • Added 18 new basic plate backgrounds to the Shop, available for 3500 stars each
Wiki note: The backgrounds have a base price of 5000 stars, which is reduced to 3500 stars if the player owns the 30% Off discount.
  • Fixed incorrect HP value being displayed on the in-game player info plate
  • Fixed Cast Officon Cast Off crashing the game if used two times in a row
  • Co-op Role Hyper selection is now remembered until the game is closed
  • Fixed regular Mio's kigurumis not being hidden from the Shop if Mio is unowned
  • Changed Clash of Cakes gallery icon to Sweet Creator
  • The game will no longer use VSync for framerate when in windowed mode, potentially improving game performance for players running on refresh rates lower than 60hz.

Unversioned Hotfix 1

An unversioned hotfix was released on April 30th, 2023.[3]
  • You are no longer able to redeem the Proof of Voice tokens in the Shop if doing so would exceed the currency you can hold.
  • Added missing visuals for redeeming the Proof of Voice tokens.

Versioned Hotfix 2

An unversioned hotfix was released on May 23rd, 2023.[4]
  • Fixed base colors not being available on certain savefiles.
  • Fixed game stopping responding to inputs when you try to purchase currency without owning the "proof of voices" item.
  • Fixed Sweet Indulgenceicon Sweet Indulgence generating co-op cakes in BH.
